My career began in 1989 as an apprentice with DT Systems; I soon progressed through Novell, followed by MS-DOS and then Windows NT, before moving to the Windows Server environments, and served as the Network Manager at City College Norwich and Technical Manager at CSC IT Ltd. After 15-years I knew I had gained the skills and expertise, along with the trust, and recognition of my clients to set up my own business and operate independently.
In 2004, CanDo-IT was born. I’ve operated as a UK Limited Company since 2009 and in 2011 I rebranded as Elephant IT. I support SMEs with all of their IT requirements, helping both small businesses and larger companies with more than 100 users. Large-scale jobs include the relocation of multiple PCs to other counties, working with third parties to plan and instigate council-site-surveys, and coordinating the digging of tunnels for cable-laying. I have gained the trust and loyalty of my customer-base over many years, a key catalyst behind my success.

I charge a simple hourly rate for the onsite time, so you always know how much you will be paying and with no hidden costs. My hourly rate is £62+VAT, charged at 15-minute intervals. Of course, if you would like budget certainty, I am more than happy to discuss a fixed monthly charge.
Customers also benefit from a discount for regular booking—if you book me a day a week, I will manage and adjust my time depending on the workload. Sometimes I will be there all day, sometimes three hours. I aim to keep the costs to my clients down so I can maintain great value.
